  • One thing you might want to do is sort those flakes. You have some pretty rare examples. Flakes with hairs of gold still attached and like the one with the gold hair and tiny drop on the end. Those are hard to find with the tiny hairs of gold and spikes still attached. They will break off fast in the vial just from handling. I would move those to one of the velvet displays. The other toss in a pile up vial lol.

  • Just remember there isn't any ryhme or reason as to how or why those pockets are there. Usually they are about the size of a large pizza and you pretty much have everything. I wasnt figuring much flake. Thought there might have been several hundred small colors there, in that layer, was 10 colors to a half shovel, but you dont know till you dig.Too bad it froze water at the end. if we turned on that concentrator it would have ran about 30 seconds while it was making an ice falls out the end lol.

  • I worked all the concentrate we processed in the sluices twice.. I not tinkered with the half of the 5 gallon bucket of regular dirt. That is all we got..... I cleaned out the snuffer and it has about 50 fine flakes. The fines are hiding under the larger flakes.  Need to go back and hit it again just to bad i don't have my own box yet otherwise  I'd sneak off during the week... lol...

    TY terry.....
