I bought it out of Michigan for 22k. They were 5k higher here in MN and even more expensive this spring as the construction season is ramping up. South and Eastern US have best price.
Dug a livestock p0nd on my property and found about 15 flour gold colors and one 1/8 x 1/8 flake 2 years ago with a homemade highbanker in about 45 minutes of running in a pasture in central Minnesota. I just put in geothermal last fall with it and when I was digging trenches I found a layer right at 10' of black sand and rock with heavily rounded boulders over an area of 200 x 200. It's all random glacial sandy loam with boulders down to there. I am looking forward to exploring that this summer, and maybe digging deeper.
