You might want to put a screen on the intake. Diaphram pumps are very suseptible to rocks.
Hand pump? is it a little extra work to pump and suck the cracks at the same time? just saying.
I can imagine the reason behind not using an electric smaller pump.
Looks it should work just fine .
I was lookin at one of these pumps too for my inventions Bob...
had the same thought as Ron though... was a lil worried about when it sucks up any rocks...
look forward ta seing how in works out
