  • We reference the flakes as mercurys, earths, super earths etc also. We really like the Jupiters best!

  • After using the bucket sluice, the blue bowl is really not necessary as you only have a small amount of material when you empty it into a pan, and when I'm at home I usually stand over my kitchen sink and pan that out while cheating by using the spray head on the sink. But my prospecting buddy bought the deluxe blue bowl kit for $275.00 so when we are at his house, we use it, and it works pretty well.

  • I have not made it to the Harrison Ohio chapter meeting yet with fathers day and all. It's a GPAA meeting on the property of a canoe rental called Green Acres Canoe Livery,  but I plan on going there soon.

  • Oh you BB cheated lol. If it cleans up that fine stick with it. That little bucket sluice has saved me from hundreds of pans and i haven't had it but just since i did the review. Thats a clear indication your catching 98-99% with it. I re run and seldom get more than a speck or two. From feeding too fast usually. Otherwise there isnt anything there after the run.

  • My Wife Jane calls those GALAXY"S

  • how did the cons from the gpaa site in cincinnati turn out?

  • That's indiana gold for you. We take the dredge cleanout and screen out the big stuff, then run it through the Bucket Sluice Concentrator from Calsluicebox.com, then run the contents of the concentrator through the blue bowl. No panning.

  • That kind of cleanup is skill. When you can clean gold so fine that 6 peices will fit inside the Denver mint mark D, you have it down. Well Done.

  • very nice jay
