Lew, you still need to screen the material. You need to clear your +20 mesh out of the cons. Otherwise it will kick out a lot of your fine gold and still be real hard to pan out. These are from the 3 pc Bed Bath and Beyond set of bowls. 12-14 bucks and there is a little one too. large fits on a $1 mop bucket and med you can see I notched the top of a 2 gal bucket. That ones usually in the truck. mop one stays home. I generally just run +20 and -20 unless there is a lot of fine gold and fine sand. then I will do 30 mesh and 50 mesh but with that concentrator you really dont need to as long as you feed real slow. If there is gold you will seldom see it until you pan the cons from there. It lays at the bottom of the riffle always under the remaining material.
i tested my new bucket sluice concentrator with no results of any gold. going to run more cons threw it tomorrow maybe ,but im not satisfied with the test today lol what a joke on me
