Hi, all! New member here. I'm in SW OH and have never prospected. Figure I have a pretty good grasp on the basics after watching plenty of YouTube, including some on treasure hunters forum, as well as info on this site. I've been cross-referencing several different online map resources and think that I may have found some promising places to try out come Spring; places that don't usually come up when searching places to try. Gonna send out permission requests to surrounding land owners well before Spring. I'm going to piece together a lightweight kit to fit in a kayak to access the sites. That being said, does anyone also separate and collect the little granular gems and metals that one goes through while classifying? Figured it would make a great secondary hobby. Anyway, just wanted to say "hi", and let y'all know where I'm at in this journey!
