Steve, you learned something that I've been trying to get across to everyone about gold, where you find it, & the constant possibility of finding something nicer than you expect. I've told people about the rare pickers & nuggets that come out of that area & others - but they just don't want to believe it. All they ever see is that fine gold & don't believe there's any other. Always check everything & always be on the lookout for that just in case picker. We are extremely happy for you & you can bet I will be using your story to tell others. If you ever get the chance, Val & I wouldn't mind seeing your picker (we haven't found one there - Yet). And you are right about Greg too, we like him & he is a great guy. Its hard sometimes for him to find someone to get out with him, especially since he's a bit more stove up than the rest of us. (I've got some similar problems - not near as bad as his tho) He's wanted me to get out with him, & I just haven't had enough spare time in a long while to do it. Hopefully some day soon, though we've enjoyed having him come to the outings whether or not he was able to do much that day. We have so much to do & keep track of at the outings, we only get to talk shortly with some people & hardly prospect ourselves. Hi Steve :-3) Welcome to the Space. I'm happy to hear you & the majority of the people there enjoyed it. It was a learning experience for us on the board as well. We now know we simply don't have enough time in the meeting to go over All the equipment & info we had for you all. We plan to do more of this in the future, but will start doing it more in stages so we have time to talk with everyone about everything there. I know those last 2 sentences sound kind of redundant, just the only way I could think to say it at the moment :) We look forward to the outing on Saturday & hope everyone there has a great time! I am on this site on & off, but have it set to notify me whenever someone contacts me. So you won't be ignored, but I may be slow in response once in awhile. I have learned there is a lot of friendly prospectors here, so there is always someone to "talk" to :) You have a great week & we'll see you Saturday. Glenn
