I haven't searched as much as I would have liked since my wife has sent a lot of time dealing with infections since her bilateral surgery almost two years ago. I have found some small amounts of flour gold from samples taken downstream from Kerr Dam south of Sallisaw, Oklahoma and upstream from from the USS Batfish Submarine and War Memorial in Muskogee. The samples from Muskogee were take from areas that have become landlocked between jetties and have trees, grasses, etc growing where I remember fishing as a youth. I did not dig deep to the main sands, but wanted to see is recent high water times are still bringing anything downriver since the dams have been in place. The answer seems to show there is some moving and the jetties are acting like ripples in a sluice. If you can find were the jetties first begun then that maybe the areas to get better samples. Once my wife gets better to where I can go sampling again I will be checking areas down my way affected by the flooding in 2015.
