Fire Fighter

I'll be darned, another fellow firefighter. I'm retired now four years after spending over 36 years as a paid firefighter--over 28 with the City of Salem--did it all. Primarily engineer and hazmat tech spec.

Spent good share of my time off traveling looking for gems and minerals, and of course gold too!!!

    Welcome to the group, Don! It is DEFINITELY a small world!! I used to live in Monmouth/Independence from '99-'00, and I was a member of Polk County Fire Dist. #1. We helped you guys on a couple of fires while I was there, as well as you guys helped us. Do you remember the 2000 Christmas Morning Georgia Pacific HQ Office fire in Monmouth? Spent 5+ hours on that one. Anywho, great to see ya' here again!
