I'm a diy guy. I've made a 4 stage underflow sluice, and am working on a mini foundry for smelting & custom gold cube type sluice. My idea is to incorporate the underflow at all times on it, but in some of the underflow rivets, there will be the vortex mats or something more affordable. With my idea, it will require only a 800 gph pump.

only time you will run into any trouble for building anything is if you were to try to manufacture it and sell it. If there is more then a 10% difference in the product you might be able to get away from any of those issues.
No one is going to bother you for building something for yourself..
I would not worry about copy rights or trade mark infringements if it is all for your use only..
Sounds good to me, but remember the Gold Cube has copy writes, for not only the cube but the G-force separator, If you make it for your self, its OK, but if you sell it!!!! You could be running into some Very Real Troubles.

I know this is an older thread . How are you coming on the DIY foundry?
