We strive to provide a family oriented environment where members can mingle and share the passion for prospecting & treasure hunting. We also work to educate the community about prospecting by participating in local events, such as rock and mineral shows, where our chapter can teach children and adults alike about how to prospect and pan for gold. The Route 66 Gold Miners actively promote the GPAA (Gold Prospectors of Association of America) and the PLP (Public Lands for the People) who are constantly fighting for every American’s right to enjoy public lands and the right to prospect on them.
