  • Larry I'm a LaCross boots dealer if you go to their website I can get you a price on anything there + shipping, if you have not found any!!

  • Years ago I got some from Cabela's that were 1000 denier nylon, they lasted very well for dredging, moving rocks for several years of heavy use! They had the boots built in! I finally had to toss them but it was because I left them out in the hot sun for several months.

They weren't inexpensive but great for the work involved! I used them year round, the water temp runs right around 32+- in the winter, I just added long underware and sweats and heavy wool socks in the winter.
  • The ones i got have the boot on them. But you can also get what are called stockingfoot waders that you need to buy a boot or shoe for. You also need to get a pair of wading socks so you dont wear holes in foot of wader from sand or rocks getting in boot. Lots of options for waders. Also where Im in Maine the mountain streams tend to be chilly all the time which is why i got the 5 mil neoprene. So insulated waders in warmer climate may not be necessary. My best advise would be get them for the climate you are in and go to Dicks sporting goods or Cabelas or where ever and try some on. Find something comfy and in the price range you want :)

  • I have the hodgeman wader and they seem to be working great

  • thanks bob

and another  question can wear shoes or boots in waders

  • I have 2 pair of 5 mil neoprene. Got 1 from Cabelas and 1 from LL Bean. No complaints with either pair other than overheating when not in the water. Both pair cost about $125.
