Anyone had much experience gold prospecting in parks? I'm thinking State, County, and City parks. I am putting together a magazine article for GPAA magazine, and figured this was the best and quickest way to get info from all over the world. I am hoping to find tidbits about regulations encountered, good and/or favorable comments and actions from the public and park employees, tactics and techniques that you prefer to use......anything at all you might have on this subject. Thanks, everyone....I am ready and waiting to be inundated with comments.

Lincoln State park has one day you can metal detect their beach. I hear its worth it
In my area prospecting in any state or county park is restricted to metal detecting swimming beaches only.
Justin, where is "your area?"
