  • May I humbly suggest creating a "Free prospecting" tab with a subtab for each state and begin building a list with the help of members with descriptions/maps etc, like "North Fork American River CA, or Hassayampa River AZ, etc

  • almost any place along the snake river in idaho will produce fine gold the boise river basin has a lot of gold to be had just takes a lot of work the clear water aera has some of the bigger gold as well as the northen part of the stat up around the murray prichard eagel aera will produce some great gold the middel fork of the boise river produces a lot of fine gold as well as pickers and nugs montana has a lot of good places for gold

  • There's a place near vernal Utah on the green river at a place called horseshoe bend along a long stretch of the river known as the green river placers. I'm planning on going out there this spring for the first time and so I got a banjo pan to take because due to regulations you can only pan, no exemptions. The gold is fine from what I hear and there is a dinosaur museum and dig site in the area.
