Moving

Hello all! It's been awhile. So I've been looking for land to buy that I would build a house on unless it already had a house. But I would like to find a good place that I can prospect on.I've been looking at places in the mountains in Georgia and my buddy has been talking about Arizona. Anyone have any advice on these to places or other states I might look? I like Georgie for the views and I also like to fish and hunt so the trout streams would be great also. Thanks for any advice or thoughts you can give.

  • What about Queen Vally in Pinal County?
    • That would be cool...it will honestly be a few years before I can go myself but I like to get a jump on the info...learn as much as I can before I go and figure out what to look for.
      • Well keep in touch. I plan on working with an experienced hard rock miner and experienced assayer to locate and prove realistic locations and help get people going. Its my opinion it will be the future trend of small scale mining. Along with that I have a fair amount of years of placer prospecting and can hold my own with most. I and others I know are working on developing cost effective small scale processing plants as well but that too is down the road before its ready for market.

    • Is he a member on this site?
      • yep

    • Yea I pulled up a map of the area but can't find any land for sale the has acreage. I've been trying to find maps of claim spots. I'm sure they are all taken but it would be nice if they had a place that showed were all the claim spots were by the BLM.
      • In a few years I hope to be in AZ helping people just like you but it's just not time yet.

    • So places like Dewey, Prescott, or Prescott Vally would be good?
      • You can also look up Scott Swiftwater Toney. He knows the Agua Fria / Black Canyon City area.

      • Prescott is very close to Mount Union so yes. Prescott Valley I'm not sure as its moving away from the hills. It might have great old placer deposits but I always assumed said deposits would be too deep for small scale operations. Dewey area I know less about. I've heard of mining in the area but never looked into it.
