Hey guys I'm looking to get either a Jobe 95gpm or Keene P90 pump on a Honda GX50 to power my 2.5" dredge nozzle.
Anybody know where I can get a good deal on one?
Any thoughts on using them for a 2.5" dredge?
Everyone that sells them state they are capable for the job. At 18lbs it would enable me to get in places that are a little harder to get too with larger setups.
After my last dredge outing I have come to the realization I need something lighter and more mobile.

Got my p90 today after waiting nearly 2 weeks and 2 pretty rude inquiries. Got the stuff today but my CC still has not been charged? What a mess. Took them 4 days to ship in stock items.
P90 quality is poor based on my unit. Core shift and/or machine setup issues, casting flash, machining burrs, etc. Assembled with provided hardware, 1 bolt is too long by 1/8", bottomed out.
Should have taken 10 minutes to assemble (8 bolts) but took 1.5 hours. Threaded hole in impeller was off, impeller wobbled turning onto stud, was off center making it difficult to turn impeller onto crank. fully assembled, center of impeller is offset the input in the housing. The whole housing was machined offset. The hose connection for the input is machined too much on one side, not at all on the other. Not sure if a hose will even seal up. Hand deburred everything.....
Very disappointed for $250.
My proline HP300 is machined and assembled very well. They cost more, but I am no longer holding it against them.
My p90 the machining is offset too about the only thing they have changed in 15 years is the outer housings adding 1 1/4 hose threads an hose connection.. and i put antisieze on everything threaded..
Keene P90 works great on my 2.5 inch dredge and my 2.5 inch suction dredge highbanker
How long of a dredge hose are you using Melvin? Just curious as the backpack dredges seem to be using about 10ft not sure if that is for the pumps capabilities or just for packing purposes.
10 ft. but i have used 15 ft. both work. just a little more flow with 10 ft.
Cool that would help!!!
But honestly, for $599 new complete price for the jobe i might take a risk. The keene is $640. I have heard lots off good things about the keene, nothing good or bad about the jobe. The proline is really expensive, like $800. Don't get that.
better be a none honda pump motor,,if it had a honda pump on it p90 or jobe will not fit,, wrong engine shaft
Thanks for noticing that. I guess I'll use this to power my compressor instead. I'll be changing my order with Keene to just get the new complete unit. Of course I could pull it apart, cut a keyway and drill the crank for a bolt as well, but that's too much work.
