Hi fellow prospectors!
I want to purchase a duel pump for a couple reasons, and need help selecting.
I recently reattained my house from the x, and I had a fish pond dug. No liner and I have lovely lotus lilys and gold fish in it. In the fifteen years ive been gone, the pond has filled with sand and clay silt mixed with stones and stuff. I need to buy a dredge pump, to get in and suck the clay and sand that came through the culvert so the pond will hold more water. As there are no fire hydrents around here, it also is my reserve put the fire out pond.
I want to use marine batteries as this pump is also going to be my gold dredge pump. I want a strong 12 v. That will allow stones and stuff to go through it without screwing up the motor or wbatever makes it suck and pump water. I see the options in harbor freight. Cant afford anything over $100.00. Any advice or help would be very helpful!!

you don't want to run material through your pump. you need to research how to build a dredge and apply that to to your system to remove the rocks and garbage you want out of your pond. I believe there are some plans in the DIY tab at the top of the main page. hope this helps. message me if you want more info, not that i gave you that much here, but it's a start.

You need someone close that has a dredge to use.
you don't want to run material through your pump. you need to research how to build a dredge and apply that to to your system to remove the rocks and garbage you want out of your pond.
