I been trying to find a tool to knock out the rock jams that happen now and then in the nozzel. I been using a plastic delrin rod with limited success and wrecked my thumb once with it. After some failed attempts altering the plastic rod with no success, i was at wits end. Then a couple days ago on my way to work i happen to see a T handled metal rod in the road. Stopped and grabbed it :) It turns out to be a 5th wheel pin puller and looks like this....
So I took it and put a slight bend in it. This is what it looks like now....
Just looking at it you would think theres no way that will make the bend in the nozzel but it does....and goes all the way to the hose :)
With a lot less flex than the plastic rod im betting this will work good. Im gonna try it out tomorrow and let everyone know how it goes. Mine was free but looked them up online and seen them as cheap as 9 bucks. Hopefully this makes clogs a little more bearable :)

Tried it out a couple times today....worked great! Way better than the plastic rod!
sometimes solutions just fall out of the sky and land in the road LOL great thinking Bob I hope it works out for you.
