I'm going to try dowsing rods. I was wondering if anyone knows what metal to use?

From discussion on another forum, brass seems to be the choice. I just used a pair of coat hangers, and made a pair to locate my water lines, and well head. Worked for me.

Check out Dennis Daytons pair he has on his YouTube channel. "Metal detecting and prospecting with Pat O". They are really sensitive and have a transceiver gizmo it comes with and I think he said they were 130$.

Ive used a pair of solid copper wires its pretty neat to them work :)
