Last December I detected my favorite cellar hole and found a cuff link. It looked pretty corroded so I was just happy to know what it was. Never thought about doing a thorough cleaning until I saw it today sitting on my desk. Got after it with a toothpick and was surprised. Here is a short vid of when I found it....
I didnt think there was much left on it as crusty as it looked so I was pretty aggressive with toothpick. Then the unimaginable happens....a flake of crust comes off and im lookin at shiny yellow. Heres a couple cleaned up pics. A little more cleaning to come but not much more.

Hard to believe that was sitting on my desk for almost 4 months and hiding that beautiful face. Great find and didnt have to leave the house :) Maybe I should look closer at some other finds in my keeper jars!
