Friday I went looking for an older homestead but didnt find what I was looking for. Along the trail I found the normal clad coins, bullet casings and caps. I headed off into the woods and came across what seems to be a dump site. I found a spoon, fork and pocket knife amongst a bunch of can pieces and broken glass. Not sure what to make of it but gonna go back and search more. No good finds but that's why it's treasure hunting and not treasure finding I guess lol.
I kept the spoon...gonna clean it up and it's now my new black sand panning spoon :)
Today I had an hour to kill so I hit a park before I ordered some good home cookin from Domino's pizza lol. Got the normal park treasures but there was one target that got the heart pumpin...
Heres the one that got me all excited. It rang up as a silver dollar at 4"on the Ace350. I went all around it and it never changed. I flipped over the plug and there was a big round dirt covered piece of happiness. I brushed it off and this is what I found....
Not quite what I expected but I'll take it lol. That big silver is out there somewhere....might take a while but I'm gonna find it :)
